This website uses no cookies
We set no cookies and store nothing in your browser. There are no visitor statistics, no tracking, no advertising network and no social media buttons. Every image, font and script is served from our own server, so your visit is not reported anywhere else.
That is also why you see no cookie notice here: there is nothing to accept or decline.
Which data do we process?
1. The contact form. If you fill in the form, we process your email address and the content of your message, for the sole purpose of answering your enquiry. The legal basis is taking steps at your request prior to a possible agreement, together with our legitimate interest in responding to enquiries (Art. 6(1)(b) and 6(1)(f) GDPR). Your message goes straight into our mailbox.
2. Server logs. On every visit our hosting provider automatically records your IP address, the time, the page requested and your browser type. This happens to keep the website secure and working, and to investigate faults. Legal basis: legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
3. Protection against form abuse. To prevent the contact form being used for spam, our server temporarily keeps an irreversibly encrypted version (a hash) of your IP address together with the time of sending. We use this only to count how many messages are sent from the same address. That data disappears automatically after one hour and is used for nothing else. Legal basis: legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
You are never obliged to use the form. You are equally welcome to send us an email or call.
How long do we keep your data?
- Messages via the form or by email: as long as needed to handle your enquiry. If the contact does not lead to working together, we delete the correspondence after two years at the latest.
- Customer data: for the duration of the working relationship, and afterwards for as long as the law requires. For invoicing records that is seven years.
- Server logs: for a limited period, according to our hosting provider's policy.
- Spam protection: one hour at most.
Who do we share your data with?
We do not sell your data and do not pass it on for commercial purposes. To run this website and our email we rely on Combell (hosting and email), which processes on our instructions and whose servers are located in Belgium. Your data is not transferred outside the European Economic Area.
Your rights
You have the right to see your data, to have it corrected, and to have it deleted. You may ask us to restrict processing, object to processing based on legitimate interest, and request your data in a readable format.
A simple email to info@twowaycommunications.be is enough. We reply within one month.
If you are unhappy with how we handle your data, you may lodge a complaint with the Belgian Data Protection Authority. Its contact details are available on that authority's website.
Automated decision-making
We make no automated decisions about you and build no profiles.
Changes to this statement
If anything changes in the way we process data, we update this statement and change the date at the top.
